BenQ G2400W maybe?

Got my tax return today
I'm looking for a monitor in the $300-400 range that has HDMI input, audio output and is 1080P. I was looking at the BenQ G2400W for 389 and the V7 D24W33.. I'm wondering if anyone has either of these and if they do, how they like it?

What recommendations do you guys have for me?

Hey there,

I don't know much about the V7. I do know that it is a special distribution "house brand" being sold by an IT distributor. It is manufactured by someone but not sure who.

Having said that, I have a BenQ G2400W and I am quite happy with it. Do a search on the thread and you'll find some more information if you haven't already done so.

Compared to other monitors (in its class and above) the BenQ has one of the best HDMI inputs out there. Works great with PC, console, disc players, HDTV digital set tops, etc...I've tried them all on this monitor and they all work as well with DVI or HDMI.

Keep in mind, the audio output for the BenQ is simply a headphone jack. It will not pass dolby digital sound through it to a receiver or dolby digital/dts decoder box, but it will pass it to headphones if you want it to.
