I recently purchased a BenQ FP241W and have been experiencing a strange issue. The monitor is connected with the supplied DV cable to a GeForce FX5200. When changing the display resolution to 1920x1200 (native), I can only view about 7/8 of the screen real estate at a time. The remaining 1/8 is "cut off." I have to move the mouse all the way to the right or left to see the side that is cut off. I am, in a sense, effectively "scrolling" in a horizontal fashion. Thus far, I have only noticed this "effect" when using 1920x1200.
I have already tried:
-Removing/Reinstalling latest NVIDIA display drivers (even used DriverCleaner Pro)
-Removing/Reinstalling latest BenQ drivers (via their website) for the FP241W
I initially hooked the monitor up with a VGA cable to test for stuck pixels (my entertainment center is difficult to work around). When using a VGA connection, the problem described above was NOT apparent.
(BTW, I am on XP)
I am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
