Must have been a CoD player not accustomed to using vehicles.

It was 95% of the people I ran into just rushing in head first, then 4% would sit on the far side of the bridge shooting into the distance, and then that 1% that really helped the team with it.

I found out about them through facepunch - here is the thread

This seems like a good price, has anyone bought from them before?

I have that eVGA 680i board and my C2D is running at 3.8Ghz with an old-school Innovatek waterblock zip-tied on there..it's been a great board

No, because you don't know how that site is actually getting keys or its source. They aren't giving you keys right now to unlock on Origin.

Also every single BF3 copy will unlock on Origin, they could be selling you retail keys from a much cheaper region on release day for instance.

I'm not saying it isn't a possibility the cheaper key will LE, but there is no guarantee unlike from an actual distributor.

i'm saying i think you can't not get a limited edition copy no matter what you do if you buy it now
http://store.origin.com/store/ea/en_US/pd/productID.224766400/sac.true

that's the only version on origin, so if those keys unlock the game on origin, isn't the more expensive one on that site literally a waste

You have got to be kidding me.. People still believe that you can get legit keys from these sites? So many people have tried to buy steam keys from sites like these and they end up being Russian copies. Then they get banned from steam for not buying from an authorized dealer, hell these could even be generated. I guarantee Origin will do the same thing, they want to make money and if they aren't, why are they going to let you get away without paying them for their game? Here is a simple rule to follow:

If it's too good to be true, it is.

Just bought BF3 and Space Marine, they seem to be on the up and up. Use PayPal and you should be good...just in case.

This one of few games I think deserves my full 60 bucks. Instead of saving a few dollars for myself, I said fuck it, they deserve it.

Agreed. I'm to the point I only get 2-3 games a year full price and BF3 (for me) is one of them. Steam sales for everything else.

I just don't trust any Russian sites at all. Nothing against Russia or anything, it's just that a large majority of fraudulent activity occurs in Russia.

If anything, DICE deserves the $60. Moreso than Activision and Bobby Kotick, at least.

1942 and Halo CE are my all time favorites...never could get into bf2 or BC2 but B3 looks special....I am very excite (borat)

Beta beta beta! Give us the beta lol. September is so close. I hope they anounce the beta date soon

site11.com seems to belong to some kind of free web host, doesn't look legit.

Im so curious as to how well BF3 will sell. Not necessarily against MW3, but in general, and compared to all recent first person shooters. I keep hearing (and seeing in pics) how insanely long the lines at comic con, gamescon, etc have been, that people are waiting like 12 hours at the door, running in and playing it for 15 minutes, then run to the back of the line to play again in 8-9 hours! I wonder if the excitement and huge lines will have a correlation to the general public that buys military shooters.
Though i do enjoy the side by side pics showing a line the length of a city block for BF3 and literally no line for MW3. And the other pic of 100 PC's setup on tables, every single one being played with a huge line of people waiting to play, then a pic of like 50 MW3 tables , with like 5 people playing (so 45 empty seats) and the Activision lead guy (the short guy) sitting at a table playing. Lol. Again i wonder if the correlation of the people that go to the cons is like the public, tired of COD and BF3 is super exciting, or if MW3 will sell HUGE again and BF3 will sell only "good".
Btw the pics didnt have time stamps so its not PROVEN that MW3 did horrible and BF3 did amazing at the cons.
Wait and see i guess.

I think it will depend largely on advertising. Quite a few big games coming out this fall so I see it doing anywhere from good to great, but not amazing. That is assuming the gameplay is good enough(no reason it won't be at this point)

Sales Progression

MW3: Sprint
BF3: Marathon

Don't let the early numbers fool you. BF3 will continue to sell well late into next year.

I can totally see it being that way. What totally sucks is Dara is right, it is almost all up to getting BF3 out there, aka advertising. If EA would just choose some amazing footage and put it all over the internet, and on TV, and really show what a amazing (and gorgeous) game they have, it would really up their sales. My friend and brother in highschool who love BF2 and have pre-ordered BF3 like me, have said almost no one knows about BF3 that are gamers at school. They are typical gamers in the sense of COD, and Halo etc, but not nerdy enough to go on youtube and watch E3 to see all the games coming out and too see BF3 and be amazed by it. So basically if there were ads for BF3 everywhere so many people that dont know about it would be exposed and it seems non military shooter players are so impressed with BF3 they want it, even "game journalists" that arent FPS players are like WOW, i'll get that. So i hope EA really sinks some money into advertising because if they dont, whatever sales BF3 gets, it would have been WAY better if they had. Lack of exposure is the only thing holding BF3 back right now from being epicly huge.

I just said "fuck it" and pre-ordered on Origin. They don't charge until the game starts pre-loading, so it should be easy enough to get a refund if I change my mind. Plus early Beta access.

You sure? I was charged when I pre-ordered it, maybe they changed their policy.

Well, on the pre-order page it says:

10/25/11 is the anticipated ship date that the Full Game will be available to be downloaded or shipped. Online orders are not billed until Product ships or pre-load is initiated.

It's possible they "reserve" the funds from your card, but it's not officially charging it.

I am pretty sure I was charged for the Origin pre-order considering the money is no longer in my bank account :p But I don't care, I doubt I'll find the game any cheaper than $45 ;)

* There is 271 beta keys in disc 1 .ISO
* Beta have been downloaded 165 times
* There is 106 beta keys left

that is a bunch of BS. It is probably static text.
