I'm leaving tomorrow morning to Canada, the chances of me having descent internet is slim.
It asked me to install Punkbuster along with BF3.
Punkbuster is used in the retail, even though the beta did not have it.
Downloading now.
I see PB is one of the things you check on to initiate install.
Question: In Origin, besides the seperate entry for the beta, I have two seperate and distinct slots for BF3: LE. One of them is doing the preload like it should. What's this other one for?
I checked my records and there wasn't any mistake about a duplicate order or anything.

That's strange. I only have the one. Now if we can figure out a way to get rid of the Beta in the games list...

Well, yes and no. I needed the preload to start early so I could give the files out to friends with crappy internet download limits (< 10GB).
It's certainly not the end of the world. But it would have been nice. ( I think it'll cost them ~5$ each to "bust" their monthly caps)
28th is for europe prob.
Good call, I'd be a little upset if it wasn't out on Tuesday like every other game... Hoping we get a midnight release on Monday.

We should get a midnight release digitally if they are going to let gamestop give away physical copies at midnight

Is it just me or is the special dogtags thing possibly one of the lamest pre-order gifts ever? I mean correct me if I'm wrong but the only real purpose they serve is as a "reward" for knife kills so in effect those that get this bonus are the people who kill you with a knife?

it doesnt matter if you buy it at midnight at gamestop, once you install the game still does a release date check and wont unlock until 3am Eastern
I preordered through Amazon and got my preload email today. I know what I'm doing when I get off work

Where do we enter the dog tag key from amazon? In battlelog when it starts up?

You just activate it like it's a game of it's own. Settings/Redeem Product Code.

REDEEM CODE in origin.Thats what i did.,I dont see any practical use of that though.

They should be happy. They worked their butts off for it.
Haven't gotten my key from Amazon yet. I'll nab it through Origin after I do. The beta and alpha loaded incredibly fast and obviously other people are having great download performance through it.

Is there a way to change the server where you download from in Origin? I know for Steam for the longest time it made me download from Washington DC when Philly was much closer(about a 25% increase in download speeds). The beta and alpha downloaded much faster...(1.9mb/s I think was what it was with the Alpha and Beta)
