hey guys, need to built a few custom systems for the office. real basic, just Office, browsing, etc. that said, would like them to be snappy so I was going to throw in a M4 64gb ssd and at least an SB or Ivy setup. only requirement is that it can run dual displays off the onboard video.

initial thought:

mobo- http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-LGA1...3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1338340219&sr=1-3

cpu (probably overkill)-http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-3450-Processor-BX80637I53450/dp/B007SZ0ECE/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1338340603&sr=1-6

do i need ivy bridge (H77/Z77 + an Ivy bridge cpu) to run dual display onboard?

thanks!!

No. You only need IB if you're planning on triple displays. For dual displays, any of the IB or SB CPUs will be fine.

ill be fine for rest of system...just the dual display situation getting me.

my experiences with onboard video is that only one of the ports (dvi, hdmi) was active at one time.
