Bad RAM?

Tried posting in memory forums with no luck...

I recently built a new rig for myself and have been playing around with OCing. I've been getting BSODs, and thought it might be memory related, so I ran memtes86+ and got 1 error in "test 7 pass 1", and it gave the memory address the error occured at. It was after about 4-5 hours of testing that I came back and saw this. My RAM itself is G.skill DDR2 800 2x2Gb running at 6-6-6-18 712Mhz (rated at 5-5-5-15 800Mhz). So is this bad RAM? Is it possible that it's just not getting enough juice (I've tried up to 1.9V and it states 1.8-1.9V)? Should I try memtest again after some adjustments?

CPU stats:
Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz (9x356) 1.24V

anyone? My setup is currently 8+ hrs prime 95 stable, bumped CPU voltage to 1.25/1.24V idle/load. I guess I'll try running memtest again tonight and see what happens... how long is good enough for running memtest?

Do you have different power supply to try? ( sorry missed the prime stable part disregard that one) Try raising the ram frequency without raising the cpu speed and see if it still does it. Have you tried with just 1 stick at a time?

Pump up the voltage on the ram to 2.0 or 2.1 and see what happens.

As long as you have good airflow in your case, your memory won't overheat more than likely.

test 7 has been known to give false postive failures. Do a goggle on "memtest test 7" with just one error, while I am a great beleiver in memtest, I would be susprised if the ram is really bad. Swap the sticks and run it again overnight, you might also post in the memory forum an OCZ guy hangs out there and a second opinion never hurts.

I do have one other power supply that I could try, but it's an older one. However, I don't think that it is a power supply issue. The memory passed tests 1-6 which should theoretically mean that it is ok, as I understand it. I don't know if this may have been a CPU error that caused the problem, because I may have had the CPU voltage a hair too low.

Thank you for the advice Bill. I will run it again. I meant to do it last night, but got caught up with other things.
