• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

AVG Finding Stuff Nothing Else Does

I wasn't trying to be a dick when I said it may be configured wrong. Some of the initial configuration can be daunting due to the sheer number of configuration options there are. Have you tried just pushing out a new configuration with just the default settings?

The default settings are terrible. That's where I started and not where I want to be again. If you're curious, Google about the issue and you'll find that it is not uncommon.

Our fast boxes seem to be even faster with NOD32, and our slow boxes even slower, compared to Symantec 10.

Do you have network media unchecked on the config files you use for the workstations? No reason for them to sniff network drives..as the server should have that covered. I still use mostly NOD 2.7 for all my clients, I've been holding back on 3.0..because it's a little heavier, and IMO still needs some more maturing.

I didn't see where they tested the newest version of Avast....4.8...which seems to have quite a few updates to it. I'd be curious to see how it compares.
