Audigy 2ZS Plat Problems

Hey guys -

Since i had my Audigy 2 ZS, i have been using the beta drivers with no problem.

Today i decided hey wat the hell ill update teh drivers.

Updated to the new ones on the website, and i couldn't get the Creative Speaker Settings and such programs to load.

I use these programs to change inputs for the front panel.

So I thought no big deal, uninstalled it all, started from scratch.

Uninstalled all and added the Original drivers form teh CD along with the software. Anyway same problem, so i said fuck let me try to update hte driver to hte new one. Same problem.

So I figured hey it worked with the beta drivers mite work again.

SAME PROBLEM.

So how can i get these creative programs to work>?

Try running the driver cleaner found here: http://www.drivercleaner.net/

After you run it and clear out any existing Creative drivers, reboot and reinstall.

i have did that.

about 3 times.

nothing seems to work.

this is such bs.

try this.

search your hard drive for Ctzapxx.exe and run it. Use it to uninstall the drivers, reboot, then reinstall the wdm drivers with Ctzapxx.exe utility. If you can't find it.. you will have to "extract" it from the driver pack.

wtf is going on.

what would cause this to happen.

sound card is functioning cause i get sound, jsut cant control anything.

this is fucking annoying.

anyone have any clue?

ill setup a vnc if someone does.

The easiest solution would be to just reformat. Both your computer, and your posts.
