They didn't tell me which prize I won.. but it's legit..

Anyone else win this contest? also, what did you recieve?

I did also, didn't say what I won either.

Congratulations, you have been selected as a winner in the ATI Colossal Contest!

To claim your prize, please fill out the attached claims form, sign, and e-mail (customerservice@atihl2offer.com) or fax (905-513-6001) it back to us and we will ship your prize to you right away. Please ensure your address indicates where you wish your prize shipped (on the form).

Thank You for participating in the contest and again congratulations on winning.

I'd be interested in knowing what this is. Did they say when you signed up what the possible prizes were?

Do call them and let us know what goods you won. You never know it could be a pair of shiny X1800XT's in Crossfire with a Crossfire motherboard ;)

I think I won the knitted cap, which kinda sucks since I live in florida and have no need for one. Oh well. By the way if anyone wins also check the attached form. I think the prize you win is in all caps within the document.

I'd be happy enough with that. Can't ever have to many caps ;)

EDIT: I noticed on that for that ATI wants your SSN. No way in hell I would give out my SSN for a hat.

They cant only give you the prize if you give them your SSN...you never have to give out your SSN for things like a contest.

Also @ bigsby, that email looks like a scam to me....waaaay too much information asked for.

Now that you say it, it does look like a scam. You would think ATI would have an online confermation page, not a paragraph where you fillin the blanks and email it somewhere.

I'd be careful if I were you.

I haven't done anything because I don't want a hat. Something of note that it says the grand prize is the hat when in fact it was an X800 card.? hmm, prolly is a scam.

Why would a video card maker have a contest to win a knitted cap? It's either a scam or a bad idea. :p Actually it could be real, but I would'n't risk it for a hat.

I doubt this is a scam. I was reading on one of the other boards. I believe it was www.beyond3d.com about someone else that one a prize from ATI, I believe at the time he won an x850xt or something. Anyways he was concerned because it asked for his SSN as well.

I believe the explanation was that for shipping into the US from Canada customs wanted the SSN probably for any duty fees I don't recall the whole explanation.

It's not a scam, I have checked it out.

Only American's have to send their SSN...

The Prizes are...

* 30 X800 series graphics cards (each with a MSRP of US $399.00)

I won't be opening it since I already bought the game a long time ago for $10 from someone on RedFlagDeals.
