But seriously, if you bought an ATI card and didn't configure the IRQ's correctly, that's your problem, the 9800se in my sig was very grumpy and crashed/freezed all the time until I realized I forgot to set the IRQ correctly... No wonder you are so confused and think it's the card.

I suggest you learn alot more before you start blaming mfg's.

I did return it....Im gone build my own...

I have owned 3 of them. two x800xt and 1 x850xt and had the similar problem in each..
 
Well you better research the IRQ architecture of the motherboard you are building as well as the graphics card you use or you will be crashing/freezing all year long on your unwarrantied/unreturnable hardware.

Don't worry guys we talked and he now doesn't blame ATI for his problems, even though it maybe have been one bad card of the three, it's highly doubtfull 3 cards were all bad.

He'll be more cool from now on about ATI I'm sure :).

Just because nVidia says they won't release an AGP one doesn't mean one won't exist. They said that they werent going to make an AGP 6200, but some companies just put the HSI on the PCB and made it. Same thing can be done (and probably will) with the 7800GTX. Guys, is it really that hard to think for a little bit?

Besides, most sockets have PCI-Express right now. 478, 754, 939, 604, 775, and 940. You could get a PCIe 7800GTX if you absolutely must have one now and a new board for $100, and you'll have a system that outdoes what ATi has to offer.
