I have 2 video card choices to put in my computer at work. Have both on hand.

Computer specs
ATI 770 chipset w/710 AM3 Mobo
4GB DDR3 1333 RAM
AMD 250 CPU

Def the 4350. I had an 8400GS in my old laptop and it would consistently overheat and such. The mainboard got replaced twice. I now have a 4350 based laptop and could not be happier with it.

The ;8400GS has two models:

a 16SP G86 with a 71W max power draw
and
a 8SP (but clocked much higher - yet still a smidgen slower then the 16SP version) G98 with a 25W max power draw.

However...

even a 8500GT (next step-up from 8400GS) gets it's [rear] handed to it by the HD4350 in:

gaming (despite the 8500GT's 128bit memory bus).
Video Decoding, (PV3 still cannot match UVD 2.2)
and has a free video transcoder along with it. (HD4350)

All of this is from experience, except for the video transcoder, as I have not used it on my 4350, yet (on my 4650, though, it is FAST!).

oh... one more thing:

8400GS (G86) 71W
8400GS (G98) 25W
HD4350 (R710) 22W
