Who is Raja? Does he work for Asus?
Yes, and he has a few threads here and on other forums supporting users with technical issues. And he sometimes help or chimes in on issues like this.

Yeah he is an ASUS rep, he pops into threads when people say good things about ASUS and vanishes when people need help.
I think the extent of his powers are he sees a thread like this, tells his supervisors, then they decide if its enough of a public spectacle to actually do the right thing and take care of this INDIVIDUAL customer while still offering crappy service to everyone else. At this point I am ASUS free in my main rig. My older ones have a few residual parts, but there will be no new ASUS parts in anything I build until there is a change in how the company handles their "warranties".
And its really a shame because they make some really cool hardware, and have some things like the Q-connector which makes builds very easy. But I do not have enough money to just buy a new component when one breaks because I know its more money and effort to have to go through an RMA that will most likely send me back something even worse. ASUS is a company with great products run by unscrupulous assholes.
Awesome! I was just getting ready to build a new system with a ASUS MAXIMUS VI GENE LGA 1150. I might have to rethink my mobo choices.
Sorry for your troubles OP but thanks for the heads up.
So should I delete this thread or keep it up? because they asked me to take it down.
I'm not surprised Asus had the audacity to ask you to delete your thread... But I sure as hell wouldn't. Good or bad a company should stand by what they've done.
