Hey guys, gotta quick question for you. I recently just opened up PC Probe (Asus Software), and got a warning about my MB temperature. Looking at the temperature that PC Probe is showing me, it says its 45C. My question is, is it okay for this board to run this hot? Ive had others tell me that this board runs typically warmer than others. But the thing thats alarming me is the warning sounds that PC Probe gives me...:p ...kinda funny actually...

Asus P5W DH Delux

Enermax Liberty 500
OCZ 2X1GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum

45C is actually pretty good for the northbridge temp. Mine's running around 55C. I don't use the Asus Probe, but IIRC, you can change the warning level.

There are a few guides on the internet on how to improve nb temps on p5w, just google'em. Involves replacing stock thermal paste with something better, removing nb and sb heatsink covers, installing a fan.

Yeah I took a look at those guides..this one specifically:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=106563

But Im really not comfortable doing all that stuff just yet. I just posted to check if the temperatures I'm getting are acceptable before I do anything like reapplying the paste. I also took a look at some NB Coolers, but Im not sure whether these will work along with the NB of the P5W...would anyone know?
Ex. http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=180&code=014

Also, although Im not 100% sure, isn't the mobo temp reading that I am getting from the SB and not the NB?

Thanks!
