Asus P5-nd? Or what should i be looking for

Looks good for the price, but ive been out of the scene for a few years, and now just looking to get my first pci-express/775 based rig. My budget is about 400 dollars for mobo, ram, processor. I absolutely want sli in dual x16, but am really unsure about what chipset is best for my money. Im also a big fan of asus. Help me spend my xmas dough wisely guys, and happy holidays!

I'd get the eVGA 750i FTW edition with a Q6600 and 4GB of whatever cheap DDR2 800 memory you can find.

So would it be safe to assume then that for my budget the 750i chipset is what i need to be looking at? Or should i be looking elsewhere?

Actually, it's more that the eVGA board I linked to seems to have less problems than the 780i series, yet has x16/x16 SLI.
