So I'm looking all around ASUS' website trying to find their damn BIOS flashing utility so that I have the latest version, but I keep running into dead ends. How can they tell you to update your awdflash.exe to the latest version without giving you a link to it?

This brings me to a couple of questions: First, where can I find awdflash.exe for my A8N-SLI Deluxe? Second, is it a manufacturer/motherboard-specific utility, or is there a universal awdflash.exe utility?

Wow, guess I'm just totally blind then...

Thanks for the help, Sir-Fragalot.

WinFlash doesn't work?

Asus has their own Windows based flash update utility. I don't like it because it forces you to update and thus download and re-install the damn thing practically every time there is a new BIOS version it seems. Still, it does work well. I didn't address why the original poster was using the DOS based utility instead of the Windows one. I just answered the question. :D
