Hey guys, I think somethings definately wrong with my baby, a 9800 pro 256 flashed to XT, with an R360 core. I moved yesterday, and carried my computer probably 2 or 3 blocks. When I plugged it in today, I got artifacts when I play doom 3, and I saw similar artifacts on a video clip. Also, the entire computer froze up when I was running an open GL screensaver. I reseated it in the AGP slot, I can't think of anything else that might be wrong with it.
Thanks for any help.

yeah, CHECK EVERYTHING. you don't know what could have jiggled out of place. No solution could be too simple. Don't try upgrading any drivers or anything, it's definately a mechanical problem. You don't want to make it more complicated than it is.

yep. might as well strip the whole thing down, clean out your case, and put it all back toghether while youre at it. thats what i did. i was out of town for a few days, and when i got back, my screen was all garbled as soon as i turned it on. i reseated the card, and same thing. i left the comp unplugged from the power and cable modem while i was gone, so i knew it didnt fry up or anything. so i just disassembled and reassembled, and it worked fine. only bad thing was im not sure exactly what the problem was.

alright.. I might as well RMA my mobo while I'm at it, because I got the 1.0 revision of the k8v, and the reason I bought it was for the pci/agp locks. thanks for the suggestions. meanwhile, I think I'll get a mobile athlon 2500 and OC that puppy for an interim rig :D
