Are these temps O.K.

Use RealTemp confirm the CPU temperature given by CoreTemp. Use Speedfan to confirm the motherboard temp.

Also, idle CPU temps isn't a big deal. It's the temperature under load that matters. So run Orthos, Prime95 or OCCT to stress test and load up the CPU. Watch the temperatures then. If it exceeds 65C for several minutes, then the temps are not that good.
 
I don't know if Asus has improved this software on newer Asus boards but I know on my board it is no where close to being accurate. Core temp will probably give you the best readings for CPU temp. As others have mentioned, SpeedFan should be able to give you mobo temp if you need that as well.
