I think $289 is normal for the Intel limited ed. ones, but yeah not bad if you can't find those.
 
Considering availability of most cards 300 for the black version of the b580 isn't horrible.

A lot, especially in games that have some sort of deep love for Intel arc, like cyberpunk. The arc is a newer and more efficient architecture than the 3060 and is kind of beefier for its architecture.

BUT...
if youre planning on upgrading from a 3060, it's not a huge difference that will make your games run at 2x the frame rate, at best, it may be like 20-30%
 
I think it's funny that Nvidia has the RTX 5050 coming, I guess to compete with Intel Arc B570 10GB card that use to cost $219 or what I paid for mine in January 2025 brand new.

It's a good card. Haven't played any AAA games, but it plays Saints Row: GooH smoothly (very low fps sometimes, but usually can't tell. May be a compat issue, running Linux). Best thing is it's quiet, and pretty low power, which is perfect for my hotbox chimney case. lol

I played Crysis Remasted with RT on and It may surprize you how well it can handle it at 1080p in High settings as mine is paired with a 7700x cpu.

Seems to be the Intel Arc cards are rare and are nonexistent.. only ones I see are Acer, Onix, and maybe Sparkle once in a while.

Newegg occasionally has $260-270 ASRock and $250 B580 LE drops, but they sell out fast and the drops aren't often, like every few weeks. B&H sometimes gets some LEs too. It's pretty apparent that Intel didn't make enough of these things.

Probably because they’re ramping up production for the b770.
Think it would be pretty hilarious if the upcoming b770 does to the 9060xt what ryzen did to core.
 
With the 9060 XT @360 they will have to be pretty reasonable with a new consumer model I would think...$299?

The Intel LEs always go quick. ASRock & ONYX models are still available for $260-270 with BF6 plus a blue Sparkle card for $300.

Seems like prices on B580s spiked when NVidia discontinued the 4060 and basically ran the market dry. For a while it was hard to get any GPU at a reasonable price. Then ARC prices started dropping after the 5060 came out. Now they're back to launch day prices, at least for ASRock. ONYX wasn't around for the launch.

The new batch of AMD and NV cards has I think dinged the value of these a bit, especially since I've seen 5060s and 9060XTs below MSRP (Microcenter). When the B580 came out it was usually faster than a 4060, 7600 or 7600XT and at least theoretically cheaper. Now among <=$300 cards it's more like B580 = most vram, 8GB 9060XT = fastest if it doesn't run out of vram and NVidia has DLSS4.
 
I been spending some time with the B570 while the RX 9060 XT 16GB rest. for the price I paid new at $219 it's a good card running on PCIe 4 / B550 chipset with the 5700x, I really think it more x16 PCIe anything that helps the RX 9060 XT 8GB card vs Nvidia or Intel.
 
Only wish the fans on my Asrock A750 were quieter under load. Otherwise a good card on a PCIe 3 with 5700X.
