Yesterday, Skype popped up a notification saying "Password token" out of nowhere. Then a few minutes later, it popped up "Password successfully changed." Obviously I did not do this, or I wouldn't be typing here. My computer is not infected with a trojan and my email is not hacked. I changed my password to something new and impossible to guess in any reasonable timeframe. Doing so did generate both popups again (again, yesterday).
So I just got the same notifications today. WTF? Is Skype buggy or is it being hacked? Because I definitely am not being hacked.
I think it's a Skype bug, but I am not able to find any relevant results with Google that actually have any kind of resolution. Only results that it thinks are relevant because it doesn't care if I use quotes or plusses... Google searches what Google wants to.. lol (annoying). Did find a couple of people who have the same problem, but with zero detail or any info about it being fixed.
Man, I hate Skype... we all need to switch to Jitsi...
