Any reason this wouldn't work?

A friend is looking to get a small GPU upgrade for their pre-built p7-1235 (specifications here). As is, it currently only has a 300w PSU, so it doesn't leave open many options unless he were to upgrade that as well.

Given his concern about damaging his computer if he were to try and swap the PSU, the simplest GPU upgrade I can think of is to suggest a 750ti. Is there any reason this wouldn't work? The main concern I have is that the AMD CPU has an integrated Radeon HD 7560D, and I'd be worried if there might be any conflicts between brands, though I'd hope by this day it wouldn't be an issue!

There shouldn't be a conflict. Though why does your friend want a new GPU?

Make sure you uninstall the AMD drivers before adding the nVidia card!
