My Logitech G930 has been finicky from day 1, and now it's developing some weird white noise. I do love the battery life on it, and it's fairly comfortable (except the faux leather ear cups, I prefer cloth). Sound quality is nice when it's not wigging out.

I'm looking at the Corsair Void wireless model as a replacement. Anyone use one of these? How's the software, battery life, and build quality? I like Corsair's stuff in general, but haven't tried any of their audio products.
 
I snagged both and stuck with the VOID's

Sound quality is better on the VOID's than the G930's. Build quality is great on the VOID's. Better than the G930. They are heavier though. So I give the nod to the G930's for comfort. Battery life is meh on the VOID's. 8 hours? 10 hours?

The Logitech software is MUCH better than the CUE. CUE software is just bad IMO.
 
A friend of mine that I voice chat with fairly often has a Void wireless. It's working well for them. You'll probably need to do the 'quiet mic fix' outlined in this video (description) for the best results.

 
Went ahead and sprung for it; my local BB had them on sale.

First impression audio quality wise is that the 930s were better on the low end. I think that's just a function of the Logitech's really good earcup seal, though. A tweak on the EQ in CUE pretty much took care of that.

The Void lets a lot more ambient noise in. I game in a quiet space dedicated to gaming, so that's not a big deal. It's actually kinda nice to be able to hear if my wife is calling me from upstairs. XD

The software is fine by me. So was Logitech's. Of course, I've already got other Corsair peripherals, so I had some familiarity with CUE going in.

The one thing that the Void wins on is comfort, and by a long stride. They aren't exactly light, but the way they offset the weight with the funky shape makes them feel much lighter. The ear cups are plush but breathe. I could wear these for hours and be just fine.

Pretty happy with my purchase. Thanks for the feedback. =)
 
Void isn't as good as a wired set for sure I got a set 6 months ago from the Intel store the sound just isn't as good as a wired hyper cloud x because of the usb adapter it uses.

Yeah, I know I'm taking a hit in audio quality by going wireless, but after having used the wireless G930s and wireless headphones for playing music from my phone, I don't think I'll ever use a wired headset again, outside the recording studio. It's a price I'll gladly pay for the freedom of wireless.
