Antec TruePower 430 @ NewEgg Question

I've decided on this PSU to accomodate my PC upgrades and I had a question about the specs listed on NewEgg's site.

NewEgg's specs on the PSU say +12V@20A where on Antecs site it's listed as +12@26A.

Do you think that NewEgg just hasn't updated their specs and is shipping out the newer versions with the extra amps?

Has anyone ordered this PSU recently from NewEgg and got the +12@26A version?

Turns out my power supply was not the problem
Received my Antec true 430. It did have 26A on the 12V not 20A as specified on their web site and Newegg.

My Antec True 430 is about two years old and mine also says 20A on the 12V rail. Newegg is probably just using the old picture.

Oh, and people's hardware tends to be in their sig at the bottom. You may not have "Show Signitures" enabled in your User CP options.

The model with 26A on the +12V line is a new revision, as far as I know. Mine didn't have SATA power connectors. The new one does.

i actually bought mine at best buy because it was an emergency. my ghetto 400 watt died 3 hours before a lan i was hosting so i needed something fast

Just got mine from CompUssr and its the new version. Has SATA and 26A @ +12v.

Antec's information is outdated because even their 350W SmartPowers are now rated for 21A @ +12V, and internally they were beefed up with heavier high voltage MOSFETs (I don't know about any other changes).

My Antec 430 came in a 1080 case about 9 mos. ago. It says 20A 12V on sticker, but it has SATA connectors. I've written to Antec to find out the story, as seems like a big jump to go to 26A in any kind of revision and still retain the same settings on all the other rails and still call it 430W

dude, same thing, my 300 or 350 watts died recently and i brought the antec 430 watts for 90 dollars? I should have brought it from new egg or something like that. the thing i like about this is, it comes with a three year warranty so, it's a good buy you know?

And Antec stands behind them 100%. I toasted mine at the fault of myself and I explained to Antec what I did and they still told me to RMA it for a free replacement. I was shocked. Honesty paid off!!! For that, I shall always be a Antec customer.

BTW, mine is running the system in my sig.
