antec Super lanboy mod. need help with an issue

ok so i modded my antec and deffinatly put a 120 in the side as you can see below. pretty sweet so far eh? take a really close look at the bottom of the hole over shoots the fan and leave about 1mm gap. i need a fan grill i know will hide my little f up so if ne one can tell me that would be sweet.

I think you want some black trim around there. It'll have a thick black border around, and should be enough to cover it. Add to that, take a small circular file to the holes, make the fan sit about 1/2 mm, and then cover those up with black rubber gromets.

Should do the trick

Black trim would be the cheapest solution if you like how it looks, otherwise there's a ton of grills you can find that will cover that up, just search around the many mod stores... The only hitch is finding one that will look decent suspended on a window.

For the colors of that case I would go with chrome trim, like I did here:

Here's a suggestion: If you have a sanding drum attachment on your dremel, sand all the other edges of the cutout so that the hole overshoots the fan by the same amount on all sides. If your existing fan grill looks perfectly centered over the hole, nobody will notice that the hole's a little big.

you just need to sand in general becuase those edges look fr from smooth

anyway sand that whole damn thing, and overshoot it on all sides, but if that is not at all an option, www.mnpctech.com might have what you need

I just bought one of the Bricky 1x120mm ones to replace the plastic blue thingamajig on the front of my Super Lanboy, got tired of how it looked.

Where does one get the chrome trim? Is it just that door trim stuff at walmart?

Lotta mod stores sell it, anything at Wall Mart or a hardware store should too too as long as it isn't too thick.

or any car parts store, I just happen to get it at Kragen...when getting some wiper fluid.
There's a ton of stuff both cars and pc's can use there.
