I just finished my first system build last night (yay) and I've got two problems with my case.
1) The hard drive LED comes on at bootup, but does not seem to show activity when the hard drives are actually used. I double checked the mobo and case manuals and it appears that I did indeed install the two pin connector in the proper fashion. If there's a colored wire and a white one, the colored is the positive terminal, right? Should I try reversing it? It won't damage anything on the mobo if I put in on backwards (or if I have it on backwards) right?
2) For the *life* of me, I can't figure out which of these two thick gray cables are the USB header and which is for the firewire. Neither of the friggin plugs matches the manual's diagram and they don't match my motherboard, either. I have a Gigabyte socket 939 mobo with the nForce 3 chipset.
