Ok, I swapped out my antec true power 430 and slapped in my new antec neoHS 550 watt.

OK, I had my truepower 430 for a while now with no problems.

OK, my computer so far works with my neoHS but my winbound program is reporting low voltage on the 5VSB. It reads about 4.15-4.20. OK, my true power 430 read 4.8. Everything is the same here except for the powersupply. Other voltages seem to be close to what the old power supply was.

SO is this bad? My computer seems to be working no problem but I'm not so happy about htis low voltage reading on my brand new power supply.
SHould i contact Antec about this?
How bad is 4.15 volts on 5VSB?

Could you get some readings with a multimeter?

I guess I could try, would the power supply turn on without that 20pin connector plugged in?

But the last power supply i had read 4.8 volts.. this one is reading .6 volts lower. I mean I guess I don't know anything for sure until I use a volt meter huh?

Yea software can be inaccurate in reading volts. And you can leave all your connections as they are, all you need to do is measure the voltages at the end of one of the molex connectors.

the 4 pin molex connector? Do you have a link to a digram that shows what voltage is each wire? the 4pin doesn't have the 5vSB though, so I'll have to use the 20 pin connector?

YOu can't trust the motherboard reading. My 5vSB is up to 4.75 now.. Just all of a sudden. SEems to be pretty constant.

Hey is the Antec NeoHE safe with the Epox boards?

Is it a wise move to buy the 500W version?

AFAIK, yes. ;)

Exactly what are you going to power?
Oh its in the other thread, Its going to be a Epox, a few drives, a 7800GT or GTX and I will overclock heavy. I might add watercooling later on too.

Yes, non-SLI, so you have plenty of +12V amperage available. ;)
