The crew at Tweaknews have posted a review of the new Antec KÜHLER H2O 920 CPU liquid cooling system today. Here's a quote from the full review:

Antec's Kuhler H2O 920 is a very worthy successor to their very capable 620 kit. With its larger radiator and dual high-speed fans, the 920 can exhibit some excellent cooling performance, but the user will pay a significant noise penalty for that performance. Fortunately, this kit includes fan control functionality, thanks to the excellent ChillControl V software that allows the fan speed and cooling performance to be configured easily from the desktop.

These Antec Units do look pretty nice.

I can't complain about my Corsair H70 though, the hoses are flexible enough, even for a matx case installation.

Looks very nice, this is probably what I'd go with at the moment.

That USB control feature looks pretty neat. If the benches look good enough versus the H70 then I could see me getting a 920 and putting the H70 in my second system.

It's interesting that Corsair doesn't include Asetek's software in their versions of these kits.

Does anyone know if the control software allows for setting the fan speed to anything other than high or low?

If not, I think Antec/Asetek/Corsair are shooting themselves in the foot.

The very fact that you have a bigger radiator should give you an advantage over the 620/H50/H60 setups.
Adding in the ability to customize the fan speed would give you the ability to get better cooling without the noise getting too loud.

There are three settings for the software - silent, extreme and custom. Custom allows you to customize the temperatures at which the fan speed will ramp up and hit maximum RPM.

The unit Corsair uses does not have this functionality built into the unit.

@Antec_Jessie

The screen shots show a dBa reading, can you explain this functionality a little more? Do you actually have the ability to read SPL dBa from the case?

The software gives a decibel reading by taking data from a table. The idea is that we test a set of RPMs in the sound chamber and record the corresponding noise. Throw this in a table and when the software detects the fan at a certain speed, it extrapolates the noise level.

In short, the software is calibrated to the fans that are included with the 920 and should be used for reference. It's not going to be 100% accurate.

Think of it in the same way that you would software readings for your PSU voltage. It's good to give you an idea of what's going on but you'd want an actual meter to get exact readings.
