Antec Earthwatts 500W

I have an Antec Earthwatts 500w, and want to run the following, but I don't know if it'll break under CrossFire, so what do you guys think?

Core2 E2200 OCed to 2.66 GHz (from 2.2)
WD640GB (2x320 version)
LG DVDRW
2x Radeon HD 4850
Asus P5Q Pro Motherboard
X-Fi Fatality Platinum

Looks like a new PSU is in my future. I know PCPnC used to be good, but I don't know about now. Newegg has a REALLY good deal on this PSU. What do you think?

Nah you don't need a new PSU even if you are going to upgrade to the Q6600. Check this out:

Note that the HD4850 Crossfire setup only took about 365W and the test system is a bit beefier than yours:

QX9770, 2GB Corsair, RAM, the video card(s), 3 WD Raptor Hard Drives, a DVD/CDRom, a floppy drive, and a Koolance Exos water cooling system.

Even in the very unlikely case that all that wattage was on the +12V rail, you still have some room left since the EA500 has 408W on the +12V rail. And that 365W is the wall draw, not the true PSU output. Assuming 80% efficiency, that PSU would only have had to output 292W.

So you're in the clear with the EA500.

Though if you truly feel that you need to replace that PSU, get the equal quality Corsair 750TX instead:
Corsair 750TX 750W PSU - $112

Cheaper than the PC P&C even when the PC P&C's rebate factored in yet similar quality.

Hah, Glad I got 4850s
