Does anyone have any idea who makes the caps on a Antec EA430D, OEM is Delta? I can make out some Chinese caps on the secondary, but there's a unknown primary one.

/edit - I can see a Nichicon, and either a Panasonic or Nippon Chemicon on the secondary, but there's a Aishi on the primary. Is Aishi decent?

It's going back to Fry's this weekend, I found a PCP&C Silencer 380 at Newegg for $40. It should be adequate for a C2D E7600 and a GF9600GSO.

The Silencer 370W is no better than the EA430. There isn't much of a point in returning it IMO.

What Zero82z said: Zero logical reason for you to return the EA430D.

From a review I read on Anandtech, the Silencer 500 has a Nippon Chemicon on the primary side, but a slew of OSTs on the secondary. Most likely the 370 has the same.

Agree with the guys above, no point in going back with the EA, it's just as good as any Silencer.

The 370W Silencer is basically a super-budget Seasonic PSU. Not bad by any means, but I'd take a Delta-built Earthwatts PSU over it any day.
