Antec 480w TPII

I personally wouldn't try it. I'd look to something a bit stouter than that.

Yeah, I thought the same. I'm thinking about getting another 7800GT so I can run some 24"age without hiccups. But man, another $150 for psu is getting too much $$ =\

I'd think that you could slip by on one of the Ultra X-Finity 500W's that are going for $9 after rebate.

I think JonnyGURU's said he's running an SLI setup similar to yours on one.

Well, the PSU I mentioned isn't modular but it is new. As to the two you pointed out, I'd avoid the Coolmax altogether and look to the Enermax instead.

The only Ultra supply I recommend is the X-Finity. Which can be had for $5-10 after rebates. Personally, I recommend the following to you:

Enhance ENP 460W

Masscool 460W

Vantec ION 2 460W

The OP wants a PSU that's SLI ready and none of those are. Again, go with an Enermax or Corsair and be done with it. This way if there is a problem with your card(s) the MFG can't palm it off on the PSU being below par.

True, but the two 18a +12v rails would handle two 7800gt's. Its a good idea to get a certified sli psu though, I agree.

I've seen guys having problems with cards and when asked what PSU they had the card maker would say "It's a PSU issue. Replace the PSU and then get back to us" when the PSU in question was more than capable of coping with the system in question.

Getting one that meets SLI requirements right off the bat stops that stuff and the person won't have to lie about the PSU in their rig.

here you go guys:

plenty of power. based on their 650W model. actually capable of 670W output as tested by johnnyguru. $50 cheaper to boot.

I don't have an SLI setup, but it runs the system in my sig great. plus one Raptor, one Seagate 7200.10, and two other hard drives. 2 dvd burners and all the voltages in the bios are still very accurate.
