what im lookin for is a good gaming box that has room for upgrades next year

drop to the GA-965P-S3, drop to the E6300 or E4300, and drop to the XClio 500w goodpower. that can save you up to ~$100. What's $100 in the scheme of 1100? not much, I'm afraid. So just go with your current build list :D

Are you kidding me? sacrifice good components and performance for a better looking case?!?!?! Do you sit there and stare at your computer case? :p Cuz the Centurion looks fine, to me.
 
sometimes i wish my case wasnt a gateway case...

What if i didnt sacrafice anything... Would the second case cool better and look better... Is there an even better case for about the price of the second case? I have always fancied the way some cases look and perform... I like the original cm stacker 2.. The zero has nice features ad in some uv reactive paint and a few uv cathodes, and u have a Awsome explosion of Awsome ness.
 
drop the e6300 to an e4300 and get this case. acrylic cases always look nice, and this case has quite a few 120mm fan holes also.

Acrylic cases look nice when they are clean, but they are a pain to keep clean, plus once you put it together, you will not want to do anything else in it. I gave up on my acrylic case after 6 months.
 
alas i have thought of the acrylic route

The answer is a resounding no. it has the ability to build up static to easy when working in and on it.... Its not a chance i wish to take.
 
well iv decided that id like to go over clocker for this i was thinking 4300 with 2gigs of memory wich memory and board would get me the most out of it?
 
is the e4300 or the e6300 clock better? the fsb on default is higher on the second chip...

the e6300 has a higher fsb speed, but the e4300 has a higher multiplier, which means better ocs on the same fsb speed. example: your mobo locks the fsb at, say 350mhz.
e6300: 350 * 7 = 2.45ghz
e4300: 350 * 9 = 3.15ghz
and there yu have it, sports fans.

For reference, here are the stock settings:
E6300: 266 * 7 = 1.8Ghz
E4300: 200 * 9 = 1.8Ghz
