Another new card advice thread

As of right now I have a Sapphire 4770 on order, but have the option to cancel. I will be using the following setup:

DFI LT X38
Core 2 Duo e6550
Xigmatek HDT-S1283
4 Gigs OCZ Blade 1066
Sapphire Radeon HD 4770 or ???
WD 640 gig Blue
OCZ Powerstream 520
Vista 64 bit
Lian Li PC65
I will be using a 22 inch monitor at 1680 x 1050.

I was going to buy another 4770 next week for crossfire. At that resolution do I need to do that? Would a single card of either flavor be a better option? I am at 100.46 shipped for the 4770 and would like to stay around that price. Another thing is that I really did not want to buy a new PSU. I really like my powerstream and it is still going strong.

So, is the 4770 the way to go? Order another and crossfire? Try to find a 4870? Thanks.

The HD4850 would probably be the highest GPU I'd recommend for that OCZ PSU with its 33A on the +12V rail and it's age at 5 years.

For CF to fully be justified IMO, it has to be at a res of 1920x1080.
