hey, just looking for some feed back as ive read some weird PSU requirements for 2 8800 GTX's in SLI

can someone tell me the wattage i need for the following rig (ive tried using a calculator, but it told me basically 600w for the system below):

asus m2n-sli deluxe mobo
amd PII X4 940
ocz pc2-6400 ram @ 2.1-2.2v
2x BFG 8800 GTX OC1 edition
will most likely run only 1 sata hdd
assume 5 LED fans
no optical drives
maybe a fan controller, not sure on number of channels and watts per channel

the system will be under water and OC'd to full potential

You should be safe with a good 750W PSU.

You want a 750W PSU with at least 60A on the +12V rail. Don't add up the rails.
 
newegg and amazon have the corsair tx750 for around $90-95 AR, 60A on 12v rail
