i have a 2.4@2.7 (non HT) with stock voltages in IT7 max2 rev 2
(can't remember what thermal compound i have put)
i have the stock cooler
2 fans in front (in)
2 fans at the back(out)

the temps that i am getting from speedfan seem to be a bit high
while running folding i have 58
without folding i have 45-46

is it a problem with the abit sensors?
or is it something else?

i am not encoutering any problems at all so far but during summer i will be in a lot hotter place than the one i am now

any suggestions?

any help appreciated

I had the original IT7 Max and found that the temperature probe on the cpu was about 6 degrees off (high). Those temps then are a little high, at load but not devastating.

I've found that Abit boards run closer to ten degrees too high. But like Bomber says could be as little as six degrees off.
