I recently emailed them about when a WoW SLI profile will be included in the drivers. This is the exact response.

Thank you for your email. SLI can now be forced for any game although we only support games which we provide a profile for. We will continually be adding profiles for SLI in future drivers including WoW.

Sweet. Nice to hear it straight from them.

Cool! ;) What res? and quality settings do you run ur Wow at anyways? :D

I don't have it running at anything...yet. ;) I just got this computer up an running and was going to get WoW soon...when I have the cash. I also just wanted to email to see in general when they would be upgrading game profiles.

So we're assured Nvidia will come out with an SLI patch to work with WOW and other games?

Interpret what they said however you would like, but it would seem that way. Not to mention from what they say you should be able to force SLI in WoW right now, without any profile at all.

Hmmnn.. I was under the impression that they meant SLI would work (as a single card despite it being enabled) in WOW without problems, I didn't know he meant it would carry the SLI optimizations as well if forced.

I think what you have to take a look at in his statement is the word "support"

Here's a translation for those who don't completely understand nvidia-speak.

You can force SLI on any game right now. This does not mean the game will play properly when forced everytime (obviously), but that no matter how it runs it, nVidia doesn't have anything to do with it...one way or the other...it may run well, but have a few minor glitches...so be it...its not nvidia's problem.

Now with any one of their approved/profiled games then you can take it to mean that the game has been tested and approved to run in a nvidia reference SLI computer (whatever that is).

Some games will never be "supported" such as some of the flight sims out there, I believe it was due to the one of the buffers/buffering technique those games use.

I cannot force WoW into SLI. Hopefully their new drivers address this soon.
