Seems the potential high PPD of the GPU QRB WUs coming soon has killed interest in 4P machines. :(

Might be a few holding off due to recent 4P motherboard problems.
I was going to add a 3rd one, but after my problem that is on hold:mad:

Good price on those processors though

Will a pair of these complete big-adv?

If you're referring to the 6172's, they should. I'm running a couple 6168's on my ASUS KGPE-D16 and they complete them just fine. :) Don't know anymore if the 6128's will or not. Those are only 8 core CPU's.

A pair of 6128's can not complete 8101 or 8102's before the deadline.

This weekend, Chinese New Year sale!!!
only one set of 4x 6172 for $500 + shipping......PM me your Zip Code if interested

Sale will end in 3hrs, price will go backup to $140 shipped each.

Open trade for some 3-4TB hard drives as well :) but if you got 8x 2TB i am interested too.

Sorry for not being clear earlier! Interested to know if 2x6172 will meet bigadv deadline. Already have a pair of 6128's that don't cut it anymore. Poor things...

Suddenly, with 8103 those 6172 are worth 500k ppd

My 4x 6172 @235ref crunching 8103 at 9:24/frame right now, that would be 600K PPD

bout how much power do a set of 6172s use, I have a 4p with 6128's and it would be nice to swap these out but I imagine I'm almost maxing out my 600w continuous (gold) power supply as it is :p

I'm running 4x 6172's on a 650w Seasonic Gold right now. I haven't measured power draw, but I think it should be around 500w.
