CS2 does suck...lol i see we got the same time on CS3 u have the 1333FSB version right?

ya all the e6850 are 1333fsb and 4mb cache. its a pretty nice cpu. I sold my q6600 g0 to get it. wasnt to impressed with the quad core myself. I want to overclock it but I want my dividers setup perfect, and ive been to lazy to research into it. some guys got this cpu to 5ghz!

thats interesting tho on your tests vista was better with cs2

Try and run "Sandra Lite XII" and test your e6850 agance the q6600 and u can get a taste at the difference between them two, i ran it with my setup and it ran the same neck to neck with the Q6300, and ran all over the x6800(2.93ghz/1066fsb/4mb L2) by about 35-40% in each benchmark

You're full of it. That CPU can't EVER do that test that fast, unless you set the test up wrong. I have a 4800 that could do it in 28 seconds running at 2700 stable using Corsair Exteme Pro RAM and an ASUS A8N Premium MB.

New System!

Vista 64
CPU: Core7 920 stock
RAM: OCZ performance triple channel @ 12 GB
MB: Gig x58 U5
PSU: Kingwin 1000wt Mach 1
Vid: EVGa 280 SC.

11 seconds.<---So tell us how you're getting 1 second slower than a new Core i7 920? You should sell your patent and retire.

That's funny, my P4 here at work with 2GB of RAM did it in 1.2 seconds.

OSX 10.5
4gb DDR2 800mhz
2 x 2.8ghz Quad Core Xeons

Photoshop CS3

Take that P4 OUT of your system. Pack it in an airtight solid aluminum 3" thick case with high density foam, and personally take it to the US Government. You have what is called a Physics anomaly!

It would have been more impressive if it had done it in .02 seconds, but in any event, anomaly from hell. This may be the next computer science breakthrough.

Takes about 15 seconds on my stock Q8300 w/ 4GB of ram. This is PS4 with a 8400 GS inside. Not sure if the GPU helps for bluring though.
