True - but what is implied is the PROCESSORS for the SOCKET have no increase in speed at present. They may have some architectural tweaks but there isn't a big advantage over the SOCKET 939 PROCESSORS in performance.

No kidding... Why would you expect a performance boost? They are just porting over the current s939 processors to the new socket so they can use DDR2. Why would you expect a performance boost? AMD is just laying the foundation to put better chips on.
 
That's a silly question. If you've read my posts you'd see why I expect to see a performance boost. Do I have to explain it again?
