Looking for some great high end /hi-res photos and wallpapers suitable for brochures, websites and the like. Sure its easy to google around and luck up and find some half-ass decent shots, but nothing that I've come across is the quality and diversity of the stills found on shutterstock.com.

The problem is I don't want to pay THAT much/if anything for non-royalty quality images. $50.00 for 5 images and $230 for 25 just isn't very economical. So with that said, where can I find what I'm looking for that won't max my credit card. Preferably free :)

The advanced search on flickr can filter photos based on licience (creative commons, comercial use etc.) www.morguefile.com/ is another, though you have to edit the photos from their original state.
