We've had snow in these parts in early Sept since I moved here in '13 but we're experiencing an extended warm spell currently. I managed to scrounge up some used parts on the cheap and built a Server 2019 boxen so won't run into WU failures due to RAM limitations anymore. Installed Hyper-V so maybe I'll try running some stuff in a VM. That said it's still too warm to fold, hell just running my plasma TV watching football yesterday made it mildly uncomfortable. Turned on Phantom Zone to grab OS updates as its been off for a couple months and it grabbed a WU on boot so i'll let it finish but the forecast is for more warm all week so no powering up yet. Almost tho...

Are you planning on Folding, BOINC, everything that comes up....? I dabbled with a little Folding recently to test another crypto awarding for FAH contributions. But I stopped it soon after testing as it is just too hot here still. That and I'm still not back into my house. This apt is easy to trip breakers... I'm just curious at where you are going to point your momentum.

Edit: A quick glance, it seems you may have to be on Atto's team to be rewarded. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I will skip them like I do CureCoin and Banano. Currently [H] members can claim either Dr Doge or Gridcoin without switching teams.

I think this is correct, you likely need a strange string of characters as user name and to be on Atto's team. They have pulling massive production but the hype is vanishing.

From what little I read, they are basically the same a banano but with a few more tweaks under the hood. I also read that it is currently more profitable to run Atto than Banano due to number of contributors all fighting for the same pot of rewards. In time, it should dwindle down to be about the same as claiming Banano as users balance the rewards vs efforts ratios. I also read the heavy hitters were certainly miners bringing their farms over for the quick and easy rewards for early adoption. So, it doesn't surprise me that their team is chewing through the ranks. It will eventually peter out like Banano's did. But I don't want to hijack this thread for that discussion.

Toconator let us know what you goals are. I am curious where the team is on interests these days. We have grown very quiet since the Pentathlon.

Starting to at least be a bit cooler in the mornings, but still too hot to really fire up a bunch of hardware where I'm at as well.

Ready for some cooler weather. Need to keep the computers busy with folding so I can focus on working on all my car projects

Ive got BOINC on the Server but only wuprop running atm. WCG doesn't pick up WU's and it's still too hot to fold but once it cools down I'll prob get the 2060 & 3060 to work FAH.

I prefer projects aimed at health sciences or maybe a little climate study. I think I did do a small bit of gridcoin years ago but I'm really not on the crypto bandwagon.
