Has anyone bought a All In Wonder refurb from newegg? If so.. did it come with "any" of the additional things like remote, breakout cables, etc?

I haven't bought one personally, but I remember reading a while back when I was in the market for a vid card that its basically luck of the draw, most don't come with them, but ocassionally one comes with most/all of the cables.

yeah.. that would be a problem with the AIW line since the addons are pretty much what make it an AIW. :-(

Not to reference video cards in particular..

But everything I buy from newegg is refurbished [ I'm poor, whadya expect? :p ]

And everytime I ordered, I got the complete retail package and everything it pertains.

Good luck on the AIW, though the odds are not very good since you would need the remote, reciever, video dongles and adapters. i guess new eggs refurbs are just cards that people sent back, so you might get it you might not.

That why I am asking if anyone has purchased an AIW from newegg!!

my friend got one of those, been working great for him since he got it. :)

Ive never had any problems with refurbished stuff.

It all gets refurbished by the company that made it, not the store.

i've had the opposite experience: out of 7 times I ordered refurbs from newegg, only one item came with ANY accessories. The rest were just bare products.

It's frustrating to get a motherboard with a non-standard ATX plate and not have it included. I wouldn't chance an AIW since it's much less useful without accessories, especially the software.

I've never had problems with non-newegg refurbs. Most of newegg's "refurbs" are just untested customer returns.

Call the customer service dept. of the motherboard manufacturer and ask about the ATX plate. When I got mobo missing items the RMA group was very helpful.

MSI sent a plate and usb/test dongle for the cost of shipping and Asus sent the plate free of charge.
