Affordable Widescreen LCD for Gaming

First off, hello to everyone, been lurking a while now, and I have a quick question to throw out here.

I've been shopping around for a good widescreen LCD that has a 16ms refresh or better that I won't have to sell a kidney to afford. I don't need something huge either. Something between 17 and 20 inches would be ideal.

So far, most of the reviews that fit the "great widescreen gaming LCD" category have been for huge monitors by groups like Sony that, while I would love to have one, I'm not going to spend $1,500 the thing (Sony SDM-P234/B *drool*) . I feel like I have to be missing something. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The Dell 2005FPW is looking like my best bet so far, but $799 is still a bit spendy for this college student.

Any advice, opinions, or comments would be greatly appriciated.
 
Play the Dellf game until you get 25% off LCD coupon. Then the 2005fpw is only $599 shipped. Can't beat that.

I got one of those on my first try. Waiting for more reviews before I buy. I have until January to decide.

found the Dellf site. got $550 off a plasma screen (bleagh). I'll keep trying
 
wOOt! got it on my third (and last legit) e-mail addy. Now I just need to double check some reviews and I'm set. Anyone here have any personal experiences with the Dell 2005FPW?

you don't need to create fake email accounts.. you can just use a fake email name.. you just wont have it emailed to you..

I just picked one up yesterday.. for $564+tax=$599 shipped to my door! I had an extra 25% off but I posted it to the [H]otdeals section.. I am sure it's gone now tho'
