I want to get a new display, replacing my 27" full hd monitor with a larger display
The graphic card is gtx 970 Gigabyte G1, maybe i get another one soon

Yes, 4k could be an option, but it's too gpu hungry, it's going to "kill" the GTX 970 / SLI GTX 970
Couldn't find to many large displays 2k. Only 32" BenQ, Samsung and HP.
The Wasabi Mango 39" @2k would be a nice option, but i do not know to much about

SLI GTX 970 is enough for 4k 60Hz on most image quality settings.

Gaming and 4K do not apper on the same sentence [H]ere very often. total lag is more often than not above 2 frames, refresh rate is only 60hz, not a single one has strobing backlight.

You wanna game, grab an Acer XB270HU.

Personally i found the alternative of using a 40" 4k TV more attractive than current 4k monitors: they are limited to 60hz as well and the total lag is not that much bigger than a 4k monitor, but are compatible with netflix 4k streaming, which is the main provider of 4k content.
 
Someone said if i play with on 4k display, but @2k, the image is pretty good
Monitor, i guess, not tv. On 4k tv that's not possible to use 2k resolution. Is he right ?
