So with the holidays around I'm looking to get some new parts for my rig. Not to sure what stuff is considered an upgrade so I'll just leave my specs and see what you guys have to say. Budget is around 500-600$

CPU: I5 750 @3.8ghz
GPU: XFX 7850 2GB (Just bought an R9 290 so this doesn't really count)
RAM: 8GB GSKILL
Hard Drive: Hitachi 465GB
Mother Board: GIGABYTE P55M-UD2
Power Supply: 700W

Also If anyone has some suggestions on a good case that would be helpfull cuz the one i currently have is way to small. Thanks in advance for the help.

what is the speed of ram you have? and its timings cpu-z can help you find this info out.
i7 3570/3770k and motherboard to go with it. Asus Z87 as example
Case there is many to choose from that are good so it just really depends.

I would probably go with cpu-motherboard upgrade, add an SSD then get whatever case you have left in your budget. Arc Midi R2 is a nice one, Source 210 ELITE NZXT is another, Cougar makes some decent ones that are not that pricey, Enermax iVektor midtower quite decent, INWIN G7 is a hell of a case, EVGA Hadron is another but is pricey enough.

There is many choices out there and everyone has their own thoughts on what makes one a good case, the iVektor is interesting as it does have a ton of room for the size of case it is, as does the Hadron, you want uber room and fantastic cooling then well Air540 is the one to beat :p

First and foremost: What PSU do you have? From what I've seen, any PSU rated at 700W tends to be range from shitty to mediocre. Considering that you just bought a rather power hungry video card, you should absolute sure that your PSU is of good enough quality to power that card. So again, what PSU do you have?

SOme additional questions:
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
6) Will you be overclocking?
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
8) When do you plan on buying the upgrades?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? UEFI? etc.
