Hey,
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming and Photoshop / Illustrator work
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
My budget is $600 for CPU / MB / RAM
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Seattle, WA.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
I have quality parts for HDDs and DVD/RW drives, Video Card is currently 560ti 448 core (Waiting on 700 series)
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-520HX 520W ATX12V v2.2, MSI N560GTX-Ti 448 Twin Frozr III, COOLER MASTER Stacker 830 Evolution, Crucial RealSSD C300 256gb, Western Digital Raptor WD1500ADFD 150GB, SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner,
6) Will you be overclocking?
Not initially, but down the road I will be upgrading case to accommodate water cooling for CPU and most likely GPU.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1080p, 23" Dell IPS
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Now
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc
support for 2 high end GPUs down the road.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
So with the current deals going on newegg I'm thinking of biting on a new setup
The following would cost $375.95 after all the stacking discounts and before the $40 in rebates.
Intel Core i5-3570K
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
CORSAIR XMS 8GB x 2 (16gb)
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density 3.5g
I currently own:
Q6600
abit awd9-max
6gb of ddr3
I'm looking for opinions on if I should upgrade or wait out better deals in the near future.
Thanks!
