Hi, the file "texmod.exe" is a program designed to identify and replace texture files in computer games such as Guild Wars and Tomb Raider. It can be downloaded with either link below:
http://rapidshare.com/files/107049295/Texmod.zip
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L4N3A6SD
AVG tells me this file is harmful and tries to block it. I have since added it to the exception list, but whenever I browse the folder where texmod.exe is stored, or browse a folder with a shortcut to textmod.exe, the texmod icon does not load, and my computer stalls/hangs for approx 10-15 seconds. After this time, the icon is displayed and I can access the file.
Why is this? How do I make it so AVG fully ignores texmod.exe? I don't want AVG to keep accessing the file to check it, I already told AVG the file is safe.
I appreciate any help
