Is anyone else looking forward to AC6?

I've been a huge fan since the first game in the series back on the PS1 and I can't wait to get my hands on this the 23d.

With the inclusion of online multiplayer this game will be the best in the series thus far.
All though multi could be a little harsh on noobies since AC has a small but hardcore fanbase that has had years and 5 previous games to perfect their dog fighting skills with.

I'm looking forward to it, but i've never played it before. I've just heard some of my friends rave about it all the time, so im pretty interested.
 
been a fan for ages, can't wait, iw onder if the flightstick will make it any better?
 
I was a huge fan of AC04, it's still one of my favorite games. Then AC5 came out and I swore to never play another Ace Combat.

In case you're wondering, yes. It was the storyline. And the trailer for AC6 doesn't get my hopes up either.
 
I played the demo and it was a fun arcade fighter jet game. I wish someone would make more of a sim though.

I love the Ace series, been waiting for this one. (Media blackout, I want to be blown away once i finally play it.:))
 
It may be an arcade style game but the aircraft modeling is second to none.:eek:

good luck getting in game graphics like that..
Demo came out WAYYY back...like several months. I thougth the full game would be out sooner. ahhw ell...yeah I'm looking forward to it.

It'll be interseting for me to see what the graphics are like when this game comes out.

The screen shots look awesome so I guess if the actual ingame graphics, if these aren't them, are 75% of how the screenshots look, I'll still be happy:p

I keep meaning to get Ace Combat X for my PSP, but Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is eating all the time I play on my PSP away atm, so I might just wait for this instead and get it for 360
 
This game looks awesome, and the series has been consistently kicking ass for years. Cant wait to get my dogfight on :)
 
Onl one thing annoyed me. THe alck of water moving. >.> it gets annoying when you see it >.> and its just ........ not moving........

If you look closely you can see a bit of jaggies...pre-rendered CGI doesn't have jaggies.;)

The demo looks that good, I don't see why the actual game won't.

Anyone going to buy the Flight Stick Bundle? Looks cool, wish it was wireless though. :(
 
I watched one of the trailers for this game at Fry's and now I'm kind of excited for it. Flight stick is tempting, but not sure its worth it for one game.

I wanna second the idea for an [H] squadron though on multi player, especially if people will be using the PS3 :)

I really wish they would throw a bone and add support for USB flight sticks, especially since the 'offiicial' flight stick is essentially a re-hash of my trusty Saitek X45...I know it won't happen, but it sure would be nice:(
 
I'm not sure if I should just by the game when it comes out, or wait to possibly get it for Christmas. I still have to pick up Eternal Sonata, and a couple other titles.

How does the new stick connect to the xbox?
I held off on a 360 for way too long. This is making me froth at the mouth.
Especially the flight stick, that looks hot.

Gotta find a good deal quick. This game comes out tomorrow!!
 
for those saying these arent in game shots, they most certainly are, this game is beautiful, if you have a properly setup 360 on a HDTV with component cables it looks that good....now, on a regular tv with composite connections....it wont look that good....

It's NOT on the PS3. It's a Xbox 360 exclusive, though some rumors say it's a timed exclusive..

Its been a 360 exclusive since last e3. Seriously, catch up.

Anyway, I want that flight stick. Sex.
If anyone remembers the demo, the frame rate was pretty low. (For an Ace Combat game, since all the other ones were 60fps.) Did they fix that?

Does anyone know if that flight stick will work on a PC too? You know, being USB and all. Doesn't all 360 gamepads work on PC?
