Hi. I had Windows 2003 Server loaded on my computer. Then, I tried to install Windows Server 2008 from the Windows 2003. It was installing, and as you know, it will restart after you start installing. When it restarted, it had a message saying that it couldn't read the DVD. My hard drive originally had 2 partitions. Now one of the partitions got wiped out, but I don't remember pushing any commands asking it to format anything. I have installed all versions of Windows dozens of times, and this has never happened. Any ideas on how to recover the data?

thanks guys. i got back most of my data. however some videos will only play 30% of the way.
