I'm looking for a basic motherboard; no overclocking going on and not doing much (only strict requirement is SATA RAID). There are a couple of strong rebates on Newegg, but the reviews are very mixed.

Can I chalk it up to people trying to tweak systems and getting frustrated, or is it likely to be problematic out of the box? I don't want to have to care about memory timing, for example.

Options:

Abit IN9 32X-MAX - $109
Abit AB9 Pro LGA - $80 ($90 open box!)
MSI P6N SLI-FI - $85 ($60 open box)

Dark horse candidates:
GIGABYTE GA-N650SLI-DS4L - $100
INTEL BOXDP35DPM - $100
