A tackle box is definately a great way to go. Especially when you get a larger model that has multiple shelves/removable enclosures, and a flip open top with lots of room for large spare parts!

My tools are just laying around my room... Shit, computer components are just scattered throughout my room. What the hell is this so-called "box" that I keep hearing about?

as far as your tools.. go to the hardware store and ask for Bucket Boss. Look for a carry bag for contract/electrical workers.. has places for all your flashlights, screwdrivers, screw holders, tie straps, lan testers, dremel, etc. They have all different sizes and styles. I just happened to see one at my local hardware store and have been totally pleased. It's heavy duty too. I keep my tools in a standup tool chest... but a big tacklebox works too.

this is the model I got... it's a perfect size for everything I need.
