Just recently purchased I Nikon D50 boy do I love it. I'm new to photograhy, but loving every minute of it. Here's a few shots I took friday morning.








That morning left me wishing for a polarising filter. I really missed out on alot of the blue because of it.

edit: Btw awesome pics, I really like the water bottle one.

Bob: In general I think in the yearly threads we want to encourage folks to pick their BEST shots and pop em in here for folks to ogle at (tho I guess my Bumble up at the start while borderline macro is kinda weak!) rather than popping in a dozen very similar ones. For a series like your lava lamp, go ahead and start a new thread for the whole run, and pick your favorite for this thread.

Here are my favorites so far with my new D80. My wife and I braved the cold to catch a great sunrise.

I really like these pics. These are a perfect example of how good photography is not dependent on having the best camera. A nice camera certainly doesn't hurt, but a good eye and an interesting subject is always better.

Those are some absolutely beautiful pictures. What impresses me the most is your ability to see a great picture in an ordinary scene. Cheers to you!

WOW! Those are awsome. The lighting is great in all of them. What city is that?
